JERMESHIA GOUDEAU

Known as "Madam Broker," Jermeshia Goudeau is a licensed Realtor and Broker with Braden Real Estate Group (BREG), a firm she co-founded alongside her cousin, Nicole Handy. Together, they’ve built a dynamic, Black-owned, woman-owned brokerage recognized for its passion, innovation, and excellence in real estate transactions across Houston.
A proud native Houstonian, Jermeshia’s journey reflects her deep roots in the community and her commitment to excellence. She attended Booker T. Washington High School and the High School for Engineering Professions (HSEP) before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. With over a decade of experience spanning both public and private sectors, she has refined her skills in client relations, effective communication, and exceptional service—qualities that have become the cornerstone of her success.
Beyond real estate, Jermeshia is deeply connected to her faith and community as a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Her mission is to use real estate as a vehicle for building wealth and generational legacy, empowering clients whether they are buying, selling, leasing, or investing. Jermeshia is also a proud member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., further exemplifying her dedication to leadership, service, and empowering future generations.
Adding to her multifaceted career, Jermeshia stars in the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) reality show “Family Empire: Houston,” where she showcases her passion for real estate alongside her family’s legacy and business endeavors. The show offers a glimpse into four generations of family dynamics, leadership, and success in Houston. Her newest endeavours "Legacy in Bloom" Podcast and Community that highlights the multifaceted woman in pursuit of balance, building generational wealth and legacy building.
From starter homes to luxury and commercial properties, Jermeshia’s proven track record includes successful transactions ranging from $100s to $1 million transactions in the Houston metro area, demonstrating her versatility and expertise in the market. As managing Broker of Braden Real Estate Group, she oversees multi million dollar transactions and projects in the residential, commercial, investment and residential development sector.
